The 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip offers everything you need to make your mix sound exceptional. It includes all modules from the award-winning 6020 Ultimate EQ and 6030 Ultimate Compressor plug-ins, plus additional gates, expanders, signal saturators, and specialized filters.

The 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip features input and output stages surrounding three module bays where any of the 28 modules can be inserted. You can easily drag and drop any module to rearrange the signal flow of your channel strip. A module selector panel allows for quick auditioning of equalizers, compressors, and other effects. Each new module in the 6050 draws on classic and modern designs from the past four decades, continuing the legacy of the original 6020 and 6030 plug-ins. The operation is simple and intuitive, with sound quality that professionals worldwide expect from McDSP plug-ins.

Artist Presets Included: Mike Dean, Bob Horn, Neal Avron, ROCAsound, John Feldmann, Aaron Harris, and Lovy Longomba.

New Modules

• S 671: Adds grit to tracks with a Tone control to tailor the ‘edge’ for various applications.
• Moo-D: Offers creamy tube overdrive, often better for mixes than individual tracks.
• D-100: Provides in-your-face distortion, ideal for tracks that need to get ‘nasty.’
• MEF-1: The Mid Emphasis Filter enhances tracks by emphasizing mid frequencies.
• E404: A re-issue of the classic FilterBank E4 module from 1999, with high pass filter, low shelf, parametric, and high shelf EQ.
• EZ G: A versatile noise gate inspired by units like the dbx 904, 363x, and 463x, with adjustable side chain high pass and low pass filters.
• FRGX: Offers both upwards and downwards expansion, with up to 24 dB of signal cut or boost and adjustable signal chain filtering.
• iX: A downward expander providing signal rejection similar to the EZ G, with a ratio control for adjusting the transition between unaffected and expanded signals.
