Layout

P-6 has an intuitive layout and hands-on controls.

Samples live on Pads, and there are 8 Banks with 6 Pads in each.

The buttons along the bottom take care of step sequencer duties as well as keyboard

functions and menu navigation.

Knobs for the Sampling and Effects sections adjust different parameters depending on the

current function.

Sampling

P-6 can Sample from the On-Board Microphone,

External Mix-In Jack, Headset, and USB-C.

Internal Resampling is also a powerful option to

mix down processed audio, create layers, and

grab perfect loops in time with the pattern

sequencer.

The Free PC/Mac App makes it easy to

Sample recording can be done at lower sample

rates for more sampling time / true Lo-Fi grit.

Performance Effects

The MFX section features a large collection of

classic and modern effects.

This section is geared towards both live

performance as well as resampling.

Pads not routed through the MFX bus will pass

through when these effects are engaged.

There are also Delay and Reverb sends

individual for each Pad.

Granular

The P-6 offers a hardware Granular Engine for a more modern approach to manipulating and

playing back sampled audio.

This section can use any of the existing samples already in memory.

Deep settings are available for impactful, stereo, textured creations working from small slivers

of audio.

Granular sounds can be played back using the keyboard, monophonic or polyphonic, and can

use the Multi-Mode Filter, Envelope, and FX Sends.

Each Pattern holds a dedicated Granular instrument.

Sequencing

P-6 has a powerful pattern sequencer.

Notes can be input in real-time using the pads or the keyboard mode, as well as step-by-step

via the step sequencer buttons.

While very easy to get pattern ideas laid down, the P-6 sequencer offers modern features such

as probability, micro-timing/off-grid sequencing, substeps, motion recording of parameters,

and more.
