This configuration gives you a total of 18 analog inputs on two XLR connectors and two DB-25 connectors, plus 22 analog outputs on three DB-25 connectors. Additional XLR connectors allow for two channels of AES I/O. You also get up to eight channels of ADAT I/O via optical connectors and two channels of S/PDIF I/O via RCA connectors. The chassis utilizes Mini-DigiLink connectivity for high-speed data transfer rates and compatibility with your Pro Tools HD hardware. Its front panel presents a TFT touchscreen display, multifunction control knob, and convenient 1/4″ stereo headphone output.
Apogee Electronics Symphony I/O MkII Pro Tools HD Chassis (No I/O Modules)
TheApogee Electronics Symphony I/O Mk II Pro Tools Chassisis an audio interface chassis designed to provide direct connectivity to Pro Tools HD systems for recording and mixing engineers in broadcast, postproduction, studio, and live stage applications. It features a Mini-DigiLink port in the pre-installed HD option card, BNC loop sync I/O, and BNC word clock I/O. A stereo 1/4″ headphone jack enables quick and effective monitoring with a variety of headphone impedances.
Emulating an Avid HD I/O interface, it ensures seamless integration and sample-accurate delay compensation while delivering ultralow latency for proper timing in signal conversion. Configure and control the chassis via the color touchscreen display and large rotary control on the front panel. Install multiple I/O cards (available separately) for up to 32 channels of analog inputs and outputs.
The Symphony I/O MkII is made in the USA and ships with a power cable.
Apogee Electronics 16×16 SE Module Analog Input/Output Module for Symphony I/O Mk II
Audio professionals looking for the very best converters will appreciate the updatedApogee Electronics 16×16 SE Module, a sixteen-channel analog input and sixteen-channel analog output module for the Symphony I/O Mk II. The module occupies one of the two slots available on the chassis. Additionally, two-channel coaxial S/PDIF input and output is also provided. The A/D circuit has been refined to offer a streamlined circuit design, resulting in the most transparent signal path to the A/D stage possible.
The D/A section has been optimized with a more powerful and robust output driver that is capable of driving virtually any input without a decrease in performance, regardless of the load presented by the connected gear. The analog inputs and outputs are offered on DB-25 connectors and require optional breakout cables, available in various configurations to suit individual requirements.
