CODA U15.
The U15-Sub is equipped with an extremely long excursion15 ultra low distortion woofer. The motor delivers extreme high magnetic flux forincreased efficiency. The 3 voice coil is 32 mm high, ensuringultra linear excursion of 22 mm/pp at consistentmagnetic force.
State-of-the-art carbon-fiber cone ensuresmaximum stiffness and low moving mass.
The aluminum shorting rings reduce intermodulation distortion,minimise induction variation while reducing thermalcompression. This design dramatically reduces the distortionof a typical subwoofer at longer excursion levels, andimproves the overall sound quality and performance characteristicsof the cabinet.
The U15-Sub has been designed to work exclusively with CODA Audio LINUS Loudspeaker Management Amplifiers as an integrated solution for DSP, amplification, network remote control, optimal performance, protection, as well as extensive possibilities for system tuning and monitoring.
The U15-Sub is perfectly suited as a sub-extension for theHOPS, TiRAY, CoRAY, D-Series and G-Series systems and can be used in variety of installation and mobile applications.
Typical applications are houses of worship, theatres, clubs and live sound events.
