Repro-1: The Monophonic Beast

Repro-1 is a force to be reckoned with. This monosynth offers a classic design with immediate access to its sonic power. Two oscillators, a self-oscillating filter, an arpeggiator, a step sequencer, a unique modulation section, and five stomp-box effects put a vast soundscape at your fingertips. It’s raw, playable, and surprisingly deep, making it perfect for anything from fat drones and cutting leads to funky basslines and otherworldly sound effects.

Repro-1 faithfully captures the spirit of the original hardware synth. We’ve lovingly recreated its quirks, but with a significant upgrade. Our version boasts a powerful sequencer, tons of presets, under-the-hood tweaks for expanded possibilities, and a fantastic collection of stomp-box effects to spice up your sound.

Dive Deeper with the Tweaks Panel

This isn’t just eye-candy. The Tweaks panel lets you customize the heart of Repro-1. Modify individual modules with user-adjustable jumpers and selectors, all while keeping the main controls readily accessible. You can even explore microtuning with a vast array of presets.

Sequencer Power

The original hardware’s sequencer was a stroke of genius, and Repro-1 takes it a step further. Our version lets you create two step-recorded patterns with up to 32 notes each. These patterns are saved with presets and can be easily copied and pasted between different instances of the plug-in. Plus, it offers per-step velocity, a rest function, MIDI controller recording, and a host of other improvements.

Stomp-Box Extravaganza

Repro-1 comes with a set of five high-quality stomp-box effects. From subtle adjustments to extreme sonic sculpting, this section pushes the boundaries of the analog experience. Shape your sound with Jaws (wavefolder), Lyrebird (flexible delay), RESQ (EQ/resonator), Drench (lush reverb), and Sonic Conditioner (stereo saturator/transient designer). Drag and drop them in the FX Chain section for ultimate customization.
